The morning after investigating a stranded vessel in deep space, the colonial cruiser Hippogryph has lost all contact with the outside world. Trapped in the blackness of an unknown anomaly, the crew of the ship work to discover what has happened to their ship and how to escape. But from the darkness emerges a disturbing presence which slowly turns the them against each other.
